Jumbo start for Vidyut Jammwal’s film, collects Rs 3.35 crore

It’s a jumbo start at the box-office for the Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Junglee. The action-adventure film, on its opening day in cinemas, collected Rs 3.35 crore, which is absolutely phenomenal keeping in view its limited release. The fact that it is fighting a tough opponent at ticket windows – the Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari – further validates its performance.

Keeping in view the current trend, Junglee will grow substantially on Saturday and Sunday to post a healthy first-weekend total. The film, in all likelihood, will cross the Rs 10 crore-mark. For a film made on an approximate budget of Rs 22 crore, this would be a really good performance.
