Yogi Adityanath under fire over ‘Modiji ki Sena’ remark

Lucknow: The Election Commission has sought a report from Ghaziabad district administration on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “Modiji ki Sena” remark, he made during an election rally on Sunday.

Adityanath, who is Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) star campaigner, referred to the Indian Army as “Modiji ki Sena” (Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s army) at a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, drawing flak from various quarters.
