Curran dismisses Raina, but CSK well on track for a big score

Match 55 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) sees Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) face table-toppers Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the PCA Stadium in Mohali on Sunday. It is the penultimate clash of the IPL league stage and it is an extremely important one for both the teams. KXIP have their task cut out as they need to beat CSK by a mammoth margin to have any chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Then they need Mumbai Indians (MI) to beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium. CSK, on the other hand, are looking to cement their position in the crucial top-two. They have 8 wins from 13 matches so far and a win against KXIP will ensure CSK’s spot in the qualifier 1. However, a heavy loss for them and a win for MI might see CSK finish third. So they would not be resting on their laurels against KXIP.
