Purely ‘necessary’ domestic flights from Maharashtra should be initiated from May 25: Uddhav Thackeray

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said that till Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) plans and fine-tunes the airport operations, it should initiate minimum possible domestic flights from Maharashtra from May 25.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) tweeted informing about Uddhav Thackeray’s conversation with Uddhav Thackeray said that he also told Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
According to the CMO’s tweet, Uddhav Thackeray told Hardeep Singh Puri that only those domestic flights which are purely necessary — like international transfer passengers from cities, medical emergencies and students — should be allowed to operate.
